Description

This preserved Kudu tail comes from one of Africa’s most iconic antelope species: the Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros). Known for its long spiral horns and vertical white body stripes, the kudu is a symbol of grace and alertness in the African bush.

The tail measures approximately 17 inches in height by 3 inches wide, and features a naturally tufted tip. Kudu tails serve as both tools and signals in the wild—used for swatting flies and communicating with herd members. Their distinctive color and hair texture make them excellent additions to natural history displays or safari-inspired interiors.

This piece is ideal for:

  • Taxidermy and educational collections

  • Rustic or African-themed décor

  • Craft use or oddities cabinets
