Description
The White Blesbok (Damaliscus pygargus phillipsi – color variant) is a naturally occurring pale form of the standard Blesbok antelope, found in the open grasslands of South Africa. While genetically identical to the common Blesbok, this rare variant is notable for its creamy-white coat and distinct white facial blaze.
White Blesbok live in herds and prefer flat, grassy environments where they graze during daylight hours. Their diet consists almost entirely of short grasses, and they play a key role in maintaining the grassland ecosystem.
This shoulder mount features 14″ ringed horns and a smooth cream-colored finish, making it a unique and visually impactful addition to educational displays, wildlife-themed interiors, or natural history collections.
