Description
Reedbucks (genus Redunca) are medium-sized antelopes native to sub-Saharan Africa, typically found in grasslands near water sources. Known for their large, rounded ears and shy demeanor, reedbucks rely on tall grass for cover and emit a sharp whistling sound when alarmed. Their diet consists of grasses and herbs, and they are most active during early morning and late afternoon. Though not currently endangered, reedbucks are affected by habitat loss and hunting pressure in several regions.
