Description
Reedbucks (Redunca spp.) are medium-sized antelopes found throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Often seen grazing near water sources, they are highly adapted to grassland and savanna environments. Their forward-curving horns and light tan coat make them easily distinguishable. Reedbucks are known for their elusive behavior and sharp, whistling alarm calls that alert others of nearby threats. Their role as grazers supports ecosystem balance by maintaining grassland biodiversity.
