Description
This striking Kafue Flats Lechwe (Kobus leche kafuensis) is a shoulder-mounted specimen representing one of Africa’s unique semi-aquatic antelopes. Native to Zambia’s Kafue Flats, lechwe are adapted to marshy floodplains, using elongated hooves and a water-resistant coat to move efficiently through wetlands. Males are easily recognized by their sweeping, lyre-shaped horns and rich golden-brown coloring. This mount captures the elegance and posture of a mature male, making it an excellent centerpiece for collectors, museums, or wildlife-themed décor.
