Description
This striking Gerenuk (Litocranius walleri) shoulder mount captures the uniquely elegant profile of one of Africa’s most fascinating antelopes. Known as the “giraffe gazelle” for its elongated neck and legs, the Gerenuk is specially adapted to browse tall shrubs and trees that others can’t reach.
Native to the arid regions of East Africa, particularly in Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia, this species feeds on leaves, shoots, and flowers, often standing upright on its hind legs to reach vegetation.
Its slim frame, large ears, and distinct facial markings make this mount a one-of-a-kind centerpiece with both educational and visual appeal.
