Description

GENET- like a cross between a fox, a leopard and a weasel the Genet is one of the more distinct looking of the felines. Genets are slender cat-like animals with a long body, a long ringed tail, large ears a pointed muzzle and partly retractile claws. Their fur is spotted. Genets are dispersed throughout Africa and are found across a variety of habitats that have dense vegetation—including woodlands, savannas, and forests.
