The Coues Deer (Odocoileus virginianus couesi) is a small-bodied subspecies of white-tailed deer found in the arid mountain ranges of the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. Known for its elusive behavior and challenging terrain, the Coues Deer is a favorite among serious hunters and wildlife enthusiasts.
