Description

The Bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus) is a small to medium-sized antelope found across sub-Saharan Africa, from dense forests to open savannas. It is known for its alert posture, vertical body stripes, and in males, spiraled, backward-curving horns.

Bushbuck are solitary browsers, active mainly at dawn and dusk. Their diet includes leaves, twigs, herbs, fruits, and other low vegetation, making them highly adaptable to both woodland and riverine environments.
