All wildlife (imported or domestic) is regulated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services. All exports of wildlife require a fish and wildlife permit from U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, (C.I.T.E.S. or not). During the application process, the shipment must remain on hold in a bonded warehouse where it must remain available for fish/wildlife inspections.
