GIRAFFE- the Giraffe is a long-necked, hoofed mammal that is natively found grazing in the open woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa. The Giraffe is the tallest living animal on land. Despite this fact its closest relative is the smaller and solitary Okapi. Just like human fingerprints, the coat pattern of a giraffe is unique to that animal. The Giraffe has long fascinated many cultures thru history. Julius Caesar had some Giraffes brought back to ancient Rome and called them: The Cameleopard.
